Originally from the Northeast of England, I moved to London as a teenager to study fine art. After a number of years working all kinds of jobs from restaurants to record shops, I decided to knuckle down and learn a trade. I was getting tattooed and always enjoyed the whole experience, so it was a natural progression from client to artist. I dusted off my sketch pad and got to work.
I found my feet working at Evil from the Needle in Camden, North London, before moving to Seattle in January 2015 with my family.
I started at Slave to the Needle later that year and count myself extremely fortunate to be working alongside such talented and highly motivated artists.
As getting tattooed was always such a big deal for me, I strive to give my clients the best experience I can. I enjoy tattooing in a variety of styles, and am influenced by American traditional technique and the body conforming art of Japanese. I have a particular interest in natural history illustration.
I continue to be inspired by the people I meet, and look forward to seeing what the future holds.
